Something sexy πŸ‘„πŸ‘ πŸ’„ this way comes...

@kitkendrick I know! πŸ”¦ It is still very early in development. Right now, the random button randomly generates colours without consideration for what looks good. I am modifying the function to actually use complementary colors instead, so hopefully it will look nicer. Of course, you can still manually enter color codes at the top πŸ˜‰. This is still in very early development, it'll be much more polished once I release it πŸ˜™ πŸ”’ πŸ—Ί

@shen I know that someone put together a collection of usable color combinations for #slack. I'd bet that once things are rolling, people will happily post combos that work for them.

@kitkendrick That's actually a really good idea πŸ’‘ - I will add a way for people to easily share colour themes with each other πŸ˜„

@shen I think you might have some success if you can deduce the light/lighter colors' relationship to base color, and then generate them based on the random base color. the highlight color is more separate

@Gargron That's an awesome idea πŸŽ‰ I'm planning to make a 'proper' color generation function, rather than just create a random hex number for each value before I release it 😸
Once I'm done with it I will put it on github under an AGPLv3 πŸ”‘ πŸ“œ license, because rocks! 🎸

@erikxxon Thanks! I spent the whole day today working on it.

@shen did this tool get any more polish or work done? I haven't had much time to look at themes lately and it seemed like a good way to get started on something.

@mike Hey, I've been busy lately, but the tool functions well. Give me a day or two to polish it, and I'll send you the link :)

@shen that'd be awesome thank you! I'm super busy too, don't feel a need rush anything just for me though!

@shen this tool looks super useful ... did it end up on github or somewhere in the end? I'd love to be able to use it as I have been messing around with themes a bit lately.
